Credit Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Records payables and expenses other than PO - based transactions
  • Records billings from contractors
  • Records liquidations from Department's permanent PCF and scholars' book allowance
  • Prepares and issues BIR Form 2307
  • Ensures monthly bills such as rentals and utilities are paid on time
  • Audit usage of department's phone bills and identify any charges that shall be accounted to employees
  • Records transactions from using company credit cards and ensures timely payment of it
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any business-related course
  • At least one (1) year of experience
  • Knowledge in Accounting ERP/System
  • Familiar with Accounts Payable cycle and relative Tax compliances
  • Familiar with accounts aging and enforcement of payables policy
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

Nice to have

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and team player mentality
